Minnesota Twins' Paul Molitor Selling Twin Cities House

‘Those that can’t do teach’ is the old adage about sports, but it need not apply to seven time all-star / Hall of Famer Paul Molitor who this off-season became the newest addition to the Minnesota Twins coaching roster. The Twin Cities darling is set to oversee base running, bunting and infield instruction for the organization, but in the meantime, he is selling his Edina home house mansion.

Mister Molitor put the estate on the market last summer for $3,400,000, only to drop the price come autumn and then remove the listing fully come November. Now after a few months he has just re-listed it late last week at the reduced price of $2,995,000. One could reasonably presume he hasn’t been living there during this time.

The place is ginormous, 9,948 square feet worth of space, equipped with 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms and is considered “One of Indian Hills’ most private estates” on a massive 4 acres of woods. There is also a couple fireplaces, wood floors and a four car garage. And hello windows; seems there is a plethora of them, and without any homes nearby to have roaming eyes their abundance stands to reason. If we’re being genuine, the look and feel of the home is rather contemporary and without being pretentious. We really dig it.

Lots of fun to be had in this home too; a full game room equipped with a wet bar, a ridiculous hot tub room and a separate nanny’s quarters with full amenities. There is also a wine closet – or is a vault? We’re nowhere near owning one, so we aren’t sure on the language – big enough in which it would make Lindsay Lohan blush.

In the meantime, we’re not sure where ‘Coach’ is shacking up. Probably somewhere in Florida currently for spring training, obviously, but we’ll have to do some recon around the Twin Cities real estate scene to see if we can figure out where he relocated in our neck of the woods …

Seller: Paul Molitor
Location: Edina, MN
Price: $2,995,000
Size: 9,948 sq ft, 5 bedrooms, 4.75 bathrooms
